The Waterloo Region Small Business Centre is re-launching its Digital Service Squad to help small businesses reopen and recover from the impacts of COVID-19. Our experienced team has helped retail, personal services, restaurants, not-for-profit, and creative/culture organizations with everything from Google my business and social media, to launching websites and eCommerce shops.

The purpose of this program is to focus on small independent businesses that currently do not have the resources to build an online store. The criteria being used is as follows:
NOTE - Businesses can be based on main street, in industrial areas or home-based, and must be a registered business.
Our Digital Service Squad can help businesses apply for the Digital Transformation Grant (DTG). The DTG provides qualifying main street businesses with the opportunity to receive a $2,500 grant to implement recommendations and digital projects identified by the Digital Service Squad, DMS online digital assessments or through participation in ShopHERE and Future Proof Transformation Teams programs.
